SONG WRITING
Anna Swanepoel, the owner
of Gypsy Productions, provides song writing services to various performing
artists.
You can choose from a collection of previously written songs (mostly
only recorded on demo's), or I can write new songs, according to your
requirements.
I specialise in Afrikaans Commercial songs, but can write in almost any
genre.
Rates per song as follows:
- Complete Song - R500 once off + royalties (as per SAMRO/SARRAL)
- Composing of a melody to your lyrics - R350 once off + royalties
(as per SAMRO/SARRAL)
- Recording and posting of CD to you - R100 once off
I do not make backtracks myself, but can organise to have backtracks
made for you from about R275 per track.
Service Terms:
- I retain copyright to all songs. You get permission to perform and
record the songs in exchange for the fees as quoted above.
- With new songs you will receive exclusive rights for performance and
recording up to 6 months.
- Fees for licensing and mechanical royalties will be levied by SAMRO
and SARRAL, where my songs are registered.
